Adsorption dryer for vegetable seeds
Reinders Industrial developed a central air dryer for conditioning the drying process of vegetable seeds. The dryer is connected to a drying wall where crates of seeds are dried.

1 Consult
Reinders Industrial began by consulting with the vegetable seed producer to understand their specific drying needs. This consultation included assessing the optimal environmental conditions required to maintain seed quality during the drying process.
2 Design
Based on the consultation, Reinders Industrial designed a custom adsorption dryer. The system includes a built-in cooling system that utilizes residual heat in the drying process, frequency-controlled electric motors for precise capacity adjustment, and a Siemens S7 PLC for remote control and monitoring. The air is filtered, cooled, and passed through an adsorption wheel to remove moisture efficiently.
3 Result
The implementation of Reinders Industrial’s adsorption dryer significantly improved the drying conditions for vegetable seeds. The controlled environment ensures high-quality drying, preserving seed viability and supporting efficient production processes.
